Demonstrations by Liz McDonald help students learn about rain, tornadoes, and ice. In a fishbowl she makes clouds with shaving cream and uses food coloring to simulate falling rain. She simulates a tornado showing water swirling in two plastic bottles taped together. Food coloring helps to show what happens when salt is put on ice.
